Cartridge Care

to extend the life and performance of your cartridge we recommend the following:

inkjet cartridges

• do not touch the copper circuitry
• remove print head tape and transport clip before installing the cartridge
• perform a head clean once you have installed the cartridge in your printer
• when your printer shows signs of ink running low – it’s time for a smart Cartridge REFILL
• store your empty cartridge in the smart Cartridge packaging or zip lock/freezer bag and return to your nearest store as soon as possible – to avoid the print head drying out
• DO NOT cover the print head of your cartridge with anything!
• for best results, use inkjet quality paper from our smart Cartridge stores

laser cartridges

• return in original packaging to your nearest smart Cartridge store for remanufacturing
